There are people with as many as thirty years experience and people with as little as two years, and somehow we all give each other the same respect.

We all have the common goal of growing our careers for the good of not only ourselves, but for our clients. We respect each others experiences, and that is huge. But it’s not all high fives and pats on the back. Sometimes, we’re forced to think critically, to examine what we have been doing and how it could be better.

In the past few months, Jackpot has really helped me to examine not only where my career is, but where I want it to be and more importantly, how to get there. Growth comes from taking risks and leaving your comfort zone. Evaluating what you’re doing, and how to make it better. Jackpot has given me the tools to do that, and these meetings have easily become the best part of my week. As one of the older people in the group, I am proof than you can teach an old dog new tricks. And like Matt says, FUCK DOING THIS ALONE!

-Robert Foster

I’m not sure how it differs from other programs. But it’s given me the ability to see where I stand for how long I’ve been tattooing. That’s hard to gauge… I’m interacting with people I probably wouldn’t make the effort to otherwise. That’s a lot of value.

-Steven Andrews

"It is an intimate place to discuss real issues facing artists and shop owners with no judgement and supportive helpful feed back. Everyone seems to be on the same page and want to assist and build something. Other online groups and communities I’ve been in seem to be about individual egos and spreading negativity and criticism with no real solutions."
